Here is a one-on-one comparison between the biggest phone in the Nokia Lumia series and the greatest handset in the Samsung Galaxy series. Yes, we are talking about Lumia 900 and Galaxy Note.
Now, if I had to go for an Android device, then surely Galaxy Note would be my first choice, thanks to its amazingly big screen size. No doubt, Galaxy Note could be rated as one of the best Android devices. Also, it comes as the best option to go for if you’re looking for a small tablet.
Another area where Note outclasses Lumia 900 is the AMOLED screen. Also, it is but obvious that people would prefer to go for a handset with bigger screen with better resolution, if given a choice to choose between the two.
However, when you talk about the processor, the Dual Core Droid of Galaxy Note isn’t that fast compared to the single core processor of Lumia 900. Also, the Zune of Lumia, including the playback of DivX, stands ahead of the music player in Note, in comparison of the sound and music player quality of the two. Furthermore, the earpiece that comes with Lumia 900 is much better than that with Note.
But, Galaxy Note takes the lead again when it comes to camera quality. With Note having a better saturation, it could probably be said that Lumia’s camera is “over-saturated”. Comparing the battery life, Galaxy Note can last for 2 days on single full charge, where as Lumia 900 lasts for 1.5 days.
Thus, Samsung Galaxy Note clearly wins here. Though, a Lumia 900 cost $99 and Note is priced at $300 currently.
